Brent joined the army out of scarcity, not out of a desire to be in the military. He always had an entrepreneurial bug and started his first business before joining the army. Even during his time in the army, Brent was finding ways to make money by pulling fire guard shifts and doing odd jobs to stay afloat when he fell behind on payments.

After leaving the army, Brent turned to real estate investing as a way to support his family while also having more time to spend with them. His experience in buying and selling land has allowed him to help other investors and learn the ins and outs of the industry. He now dedicates his time to assisting military veteran business owners in their transition out of the military and into real estate investing.

One of Brent's tips for successful land investing is to improve the land selling process by going to areas where there is demand and mailing specific offer letters to landowners. He recommends using resources like Zillow and Redfin to determine land values and parcel sizes that are selling in a particular area. Brent also suggests visiting the Landsharkslist.com to obtain a list of 50 landowners in a specific area. Brent and his team use a specific letter called the "land offer letter" to send offers to landowners.

If you're interested in taking action and learning the steps to become successful in real estate investing, Brent and his team have introduced the Sharks program as a resource to provide support and guidance to help individuals build their real estate investing business. The program is not limited to veterans and offers a comprehensive approach to growing your real estate investing business.

The hack Brent suggests is hiring a virtual assistant to help with tasks that can free up time to focus on business growth. By outsourcing repetitive tasks, you can focus on high-level tasks that will move your business forward.

This episode is a reminder that with hard work, determination, and the right mindset, anyone can achieve success in real estate investing. Whether you're a military veteran or someone looking to start a new career, Brent's tips and insights can be a valuable resource to help you succeed in the real estate investing industry.
